Our Affect on Human Trafficking
- During the 10 years we have conducted Project Fili, every year more than 600 poor and illiterate children are getting educated, saving them from the detriments of human trafficking. With the generous donations of 12000 people worldwide, we have had the ability to make a difference in countless children’s lives. Our biggest charity that we have had the privilege of working with was The Philanthropic Society and Orthodox Church (The PSOC). Their work has saved hundreds of lives, and we hope to continue to connect them with the resources to continue to do so. The PSOC has successfully established a program that helps alleviate the suffering of young and old from poverty, crime, and illiteracy in the area. One of their main programs that we have a hand in assisting was The Theotokos Girls’ and Boys’ Orphanages.
- Assistance in the orphanages includes creating an education system for these children. Education has been the key to success for many generations and continues to allow children to thrive. In addition to typically school subjects, The PSOC School provides a competitive english education to village children that normally would not have access. We humbly ask for your continued support for the orphans at The Theotokos Girls’ and Boys’ Orphanages. With this kind of support we are able to keep children off the streets as well as educated, leading to a highly unlikely chance that they will fall victim to human trafficking.
